課程概述 |
經由實際臨床和病患評估、進行義肢矯具實務操作，藉此培養臨床決斷能力和獨立完成義肢矯具實務的能力 |

課程目標 |
Course Prerequisites: Principles of Prosthetics and Orthotics; Research in Prosthetics and Orthotics; Prosthetics and Othotics Laboratory; Clinical Case Study on Prosthetics and Orthotics.
The internship is to help students to integrate their knowledge which they have learned from the prerequisites in prosthetics and orthotics and develop clinical intuition and sense. Students will be assigned to practitioners as their supervisors and be scheduled to observe clinical practices particularly on clinical patient management. They are expected to attend scheduled clinics, to finish assigned fabrication work, to participate journal club, to build a patient log and to write report and SOAP notes. The course grade of each student will based on faculty evaluation on the fulfillment of student’s knowledge and skills expectations.
